From January 29 to 31, activities were held at St. Stephane premises, made by participants of the second cohort of JLC’s training, organized in partnership with CARE International Burundi. This training was part of the TUBAKARORERO program, which focuses on empowering women and providing knowledge on sexual and reproductive health (SRHR).
The training covered key topics such as managing a VSLA (Village Savings and Loan Association), organizing and evaluating income-generating activities, and managing funds. It specifically targeted single mothers and daughter-mothers, providing them with essential skills for financial independence and personal growth.
Through this program, participants gained practical knowledge and were also sensitized on reproductive health and empowerment, laying the foundation for a sustainable future in their communities.
