Learning from others for providing better healthcare services

This Thursday, May 23rd, the Jars of Love Community’s staff team had the honor of visiting the Village Health Works organization and its facilities, notably Kigutu Hospital and the Women’s Health Pavilion. The warm welcome and detailed guided tour provided by the staff allowed us to understand their daily operations and integrated approach to care.
We discovered their comprehensive model for women’s care, which considers medical, social, and emotional aspects. Their dedication and passion were evident, and their Women’s Health Pavilion stands out as a true beacon of hope for the local community.
The open and informative exchanges with the staff taught us a great deal, and we are extremely grateful for this opportunity. The knowledge and experiences gained from this visit will undoubtedly enhance our own initiatives. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Village Health Works for their hospitality and generosity.
