Let’s celebrate with a Free Healthcare Day
Let’s start the week on a celebratory note.
In the spirit of commemoration and in conjunction with the closure of the virtual campaign dedicated to celebrating International Health Day on April 7th, and following the International Day dedicated to Maternal Health and Rights on April 11th, the Jars of Love Community (JLC) organized a Free Healthcare Day on Friday, April 12, 2024 for the communities served by its programs and the surrounding community near its therapeutic care center, the C.M. TAYENA, in Kibenga, MUHA urban commune.
The day featured ophthalmic, psychological, medical, nutritional consultations, obstetric ultrasounds, dental care, wound care, screening for vital parameters related to hypertension and diabetes, and a community awareness session. A dedicated team of volunteers and healthcare professionals came together to provide quality care to the patients in attendance.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Egyptian laboratories Medical Union Pharmaceutical MUP/MEPACO-MEDIFOOD for their support in making this event possible through their donation of medical kits.
